It probably would more helpful if/when you post a cheap mod here...to at least try to explain what you mean. Some of these mods (like the HD lip) may mean nothing to a casual reader, not familiar with common Focus terminology.

Twin horn mod.....$20. Adds a dual-tone horn setup to your Focus. Fairly easy mod that sounds great.

it can be easily seen through the nightshade, when the light is turned on. in the daytime the light appears black, but when the light is engaged it's almost an unnoticeable difference. easily seen from 500 ft or more away. i have seen hundreds with it done...in texas

Howdy All:

1st post. I just removed my lunchbox resonator. It weighed in at just under 10 lbs. I can barely notice the increased tone of my exhaust. I had to turn off the blower on the heater, turn off the radio and open the window to notice the slight difference. The difference in performance is negligable to my butt dyno. I let you know on any MPG changes.

Yeah the whole assembly weighs in at around 20 lbs. The shafts themselves aren't that much and it only really frees up around 3-5 hp maybe. What it is really good for is freeing up rotational drag and allows the motor to respond faster.

How bad is the vibration? While idling, my 2.0 is so smooth that sometimes I have to look at the tach just to make sure it's still running.

Got a hatchback? This $13 solar trickle charger from Harbor Freight might keep your battery charged during periods of non-use. It matches the contour of the hatch cover. If you wanted to be real trick, cut a rectangular hole in the cover, and mount the charger under the cover with just the lens showing (pretty stealth)....it's very thin. I plug it into an outlet I installed in the hatch area.
