after all these mods are pretty much universal on the 07 and down

it all breaks down to we all drive a Focus we need unity lol

Yea I was kind of going for a just Duratec...guess I should have stated that in the title. Dang!

O well. Duratec is still better, but back to the mods.

Tell you what.....you won't find many cheap mods that are specific to a Duratec Focus. Almost all the many mods I did will work on any Focus. The single Duratec mod I did was a Steeda SRI......not cheap.

Back to the door sill mod. I have used these rubber stair threads for other projects......they're not all the same. One batch I got from Home Depot had a longer flap on the outer edge, and wouldn't have fit the Focus without a long cut on the outer edge. Most fit perfectly. The nice part of this mod.....the corner edge of the sill is protected from scratching when you swing your foot past it.

Happy modding.....

Latest mod for me....a micro-suede arm-rest pad for the doors, matching the cover I made for the center arm rest. It's simply a piece of black micro-suede from a fabric store, flapped over a piece of carpet mat (to give it some thickness/stiffness). There's another piece of sticky-back foam on the bottom that holds the thing together. It attaches to the door with two velcro pieces.

Nice soft feel on your arms as you're cruising along......
