in theory...you don't have to paint it black. it just depends on the color scheme you want your car to have.

all depends on the paint scheme for your car, mine is red and black, unno, try it and let us know how it goes, if it looks like a clown car i guess we will have learned not to do a red lip on a black car lol

Not to change topic but washing in rain is awesome... done it a couple times and its really a good idea. Soap it up, let the rain rinse (plus bucket of water if needed) and then drive into the garage to dry. Brilliant! And that paint job really sets the attitude for the entire car, helps make it much more agressive. I also hate having a black car for that reason... really couldn't see a mad mod like that. Good idea, just clean it up a bit and your set.
