I apologize if this was taken care of earlier but after 10 pages I can't dig anymore ;)
Most of the links im seeing posted either dont work or two the sites are down. The few that work are for early models. Ive only found one cai for an 07 zx3 and its only 70 bucks so it doesn't sound high quality. Anyone know where I could get one for a newer model? this is the only one ive found from Spyder auto http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/2...d00135529.html

AEM's CAI has a bypass that will prevent your engine from getting hyrdolocked. They sell it for $45 or so. That way if your filter gets submerged, it will open and breathe through the bypass valve.

Honestly, I don't get how the AEM bypass filter can do anything unless you just happen to drive into a 2 foot deep hole full of water. I don't see how the bypass filter will open up and take in air from the engine bay if you have a few days of heavy rain: The main filter will probably suck in water with the air it's breathing but by the time the filter is soaked/saturated, the engine already has water in it.

yo im thinking about dumping a cai on my zx3 but i want to know if i need to upgrade the mass air flow sensor or if the stock sensor is up to par for a cai
i called ford and they didnt know wtf was going on so any help is very appreciated |
