i have a short ram now but i really want a CAI and im not sure witch to buy moneys isnt to big of a deal...so maybe the iceman will work or is there a little bit better one

Well If you read around, you'll see that Volant is a good one too. Alot of people like that one. The Ice-man is good to though.

is it hard to install? i have a ichibahn now on there (short ram intake)...and i was just wondering if its hard to install or should i take it to the shop and spend the extra money on installing


----edit:When i buy the iceman intake do i get the box or do i use my stock box that has the filter in it...because mine broken...if any one knows where i can get one for cheap let me know

the iceman is not hard to install and you do use the stock airbox.

pretty much just need the box, the iceman has a filter, main tube, and snorkles, i think you need your own breather hose or filter

I wouldnt get the iceman, just dont like it.

If you want cold air get teh volant, the FC or the AEM (aem looks best and is equal in performance if not slightly better than the volant). The FC is about and exact copy of the volant and about 100 bucks cheaper. I originally got the FC, noticed a nice little pull after the install, and was happy, its not the prettiest thing in the world but it works.

not knowing hardly anything about intakes or engine work, i installed the FC CAI in about 45 mins.


**EDIT** None of the 3 i mentioned use stock parts, besides the snorkle (Cept the aem), and the FC comes with an svt snorkle (larger intake hose).
