final numbers

the final numbers is this they appraised my car *my brothers best friend* and hit it high at 13,400 and my payoff is 19000 *roughly dont remember exact number* so thats 5600 in neg equity ,

minus 2000 for my down payment its 3600 neg equity and the trade in for the focus is 9500 but instead of going by that they are doing retail which is something like 12600 so the car itself is going to be sold to me for 10,000

*they brought it in on trade for 9,300 plus docking fee which not even d plan can get around* so about 10 000 plus 3600 so that equals 13600 so thats 1000 above retail price right? so id be financing about what 107% right?

so thats where i run into problems 107% plus add 700 for taxes and crap so 14300 so for 48 months with like a 6% interest rate the payments would be 375 *thats 25$ more a month for a 100 , 000 mile extended warrenty* so really 350 a mo. for 4 years

instead of 325 a mo. for 3 more years and than financing 8500 at the end of the lease so overall im saving money but spending more a month but for a lot shorter time!

so now i need to decide is it worth it? i dont know guys i have alot to think about. impulse buying BAD!! lol

so your only leasing the civic? You leased the civic and your still paying 325/month?? In the long run that sounds better to get out of. I would never lease a car.

Sounds do-able to me. What are the specs on the 02 SVT? Has the ECU been updated yet? How many miles are on it?

Well,, it all depends if u like the SVT enough. THose are my payments. 372 a month, but that is because of a crappy Interest rate. I am going to refinance in 6 months. Its all up to you. The civic will hold its value a little better i think. If i was u I would sleep on it and then make your decision, but i am leaning towards getting the SVT. I think u will enjoy it. They are fun cars. I have had mine for about a month and i love it. Let us know what u decide to do.

all i know

all i know is the svt focus has * i believe* 25 k miles good shape and 170 crankshaft hp and 145 ft lbs of torque , at the wheels i think the horsepower is 148 not sure about the torque and i dont know about the ecu.

but anywho i leased it cause i had a 2003 nissan sentra for half a year , down payment of 1k and got it for 100$ over invoice. and i was still 3k upside down when i got my si for 18000 so add 3000 plus taxes n crap so i walked out the door leasing instead of financing about 23k yah know? stupid me i should of kept with my paid off 1994 nissan sentra lol

yah im going to give it a few nights , its not even on the lot for sale yet , so i have a few days to decide. i think im going to do it , its best for me i think

sounds like the honda is loosing value just fine thank you. that is a $5600 difference in backwardsness. I would not say from these figures that the honda doesn't loose value as fast as most other cars. After one year of having my car, it is less than $2000 difference between trade in value and what I owe.
