Nitrous tune for SVT questions

Hello Tom

I have a couple of questions about your FI tunes. I already have a Predator tuner with your tune from you. I am planning on getting some Nitrous, only a 50 shot for the beginning. Ok here are my questions:

First of all how much is it (the tune)?

Do I need a wideband Air/fuel ratio gauge, and if yes which one do you recommend?

Does it cost more if I want several tunes lets say one for a 50, one for a 75 and one for a 100 shot?

Can I run those tunes even though I am not spraying, or am I better of reloading my old tune, or the stock tune, and are there any draw backs from running the Nitrous tune without spraying (decreased gas mileage, less power, etc.)?

What kind of safety devices do you recommend? I am looking to get a window switch, WOT switch, and fuel pressure cut off switch.

Would it be better or cheaper if I came in to get a dyno tune?

Also would I be able to run a 35 shot without a tune (with the stock tune) for now until I get the money for your tune??

Well mostly daily, and if on the track more road racing, then drag racing. Just wanna keep those civics at bay on the straights.

If you run higher octane then nothing would need to be done with the tune , if your going to stay with 93 then you would need a turn for all of them

For safety I would run the next fuel jet larger over what the kit calls for , colder plug and 180 thurmostat and a tune for what ever HP you are looking for from the nitrous

You should be running better octane at the track anyway

I am normally running 91 octane fuel. So if i would run 94 octane would I be save to go with a 35 or 50 shot, without a tune (no timing retards)?? I will be getting colder spark plugs. But do i really need the 180 thurmostat, what is it good for??

The SVT realy needs 93 to start with so going to 94 isnt going to help , If your going to do nitrous on 94 you need to do a tune for Nitrous

180 Thurmo lowers the water temps the cooler the engine runs to a point the lower the knock threshold the safer the engine

Thanks for the info. So how much would a Nitrous tune be then?? I know you charge $400 for FI tunes but, correct me if I am wrong, a nitrous tune is not as involved as a SC or Turbo tune.

No it isnt I will do you a complete Nitrous tune for 225.00 IF you change the plugs , thurmostat , go to the next larger jet on the fuel

Could i use that tune in everyday driving? And would I feel any change from your NA tune?
