yeah, wasn't anything spectaular lookin, but we dont really have the ability to do any custom work in my shop. took a lond time to make that dash kit look even that good and fit too. not the best setup for tryin to putsomethin into. the wiring and everything else wasn't near as bad as i thought it would be though.

Here you go, some quality cars ive seen recently...(aka the shitboxes we get every once and a while)

he couldnt get the amp to work. lol its called a shitty install job. he bought everything from us, and had his "guy" install it for him. when he came back, we wound up charging double of what it would origionally cost to have us install it.

this car, was just a damn mess, ill try to upload more pictures of it, but it was ungodly awful to even see.. felt bad for the installer that was working on it at the time...

oh yeah, we've all had our horror stories. had some kid come in with his camaro cause the fuse kept blowing on the power. tried to say that we installed it. til i found out that the power wire was ran right next to the header, under the car and up through the pass floorboard and was grounding out on the header it had melted to. then he said that maybe him and his dad had installed it.
also had a guy come in in a tahoe that was havin issues. a friend had installed it and there was no fuse on the power and the end was stripped and just twisted around the bolt for the jump start bolt. and there was a wire looped from the constant on the amp straight to the turn on so it was always on. took a while to explain why it needed to be completely redone.
and i always get people buying the scosche amp kit at walmart and wanting us to use that to install some knockoff 2000W amp and doesn't understand that there is a quality difference in the wiring compared to ours and why I wont use it.
and there's always the kid that doesn't wanna pay our labor or parts (usually on a headunit) so they have a friend do the install and come back the next day saying it doesn't work and then get pissed when i have to charge double what i origonally quoted to first fix what their friend messed up cutting wires and then install it the proper way.

one of my favs was somene that brought in a 2 channel amp and wanted me too hook it up to all four stock seakers and a sub. lol

I've got one for you guys, riced out civic wanted us to check his speakers. We had installed 2 pairs on the interior a few weeks prior. All he said were his new speakers were blown when he dropped off the car. So a few hours later I pull the car in, so I checked inside, called him back told him everything was fine. He came to pick it up I gave him the keys showed him it working fine, he starts shouting "no no no" at me like I'm an idiot. I'm like calm down man, whats wrong? He says "NO the outside speakers?" I look at him like what? He then gets on the ground and points under his car.... I am still wondering what the heck he's talking about so I climb down there with him. I cannot believe my eyes, the dumb schmuck had taken the Factory Paper Coned Speakers that we took out, cut out 4, 6.5" holes in his underbody and placed the old speakers in the holes.

He then got up, opened the door and showed me under his broken back seat where he had cut open the center section of the seat and placed a cheap Walmart Roadmaster brand 4ch amp inside their to power them. Needless to say we had some storms earlier that week which looks like ruined his idiot idea.

I could not believe this kid, like WTF was he thinking.

I know I've got a ton more but I've been out of the bay and all for almost 2 years now so some memories have run dry.

well atleast he had an amp for them and not just tryin to tap t hem all onto the deck. lol god some people are stupid. had somebody come in once with an old caprice (i think) with two 12's in the trunk. that's it. lol. they were tapped onto the rear speakers and tied to the supports for the trunk lid. no boc, no amp, just 2 subs. and they wanted too know why their subs weren't loud. FAIL!
