as long as your not running a ton of mods, of FI, regular is fine, the focus has a small tank only 13.2 gal you should see around 250-300 miles before your gas light comes on if not longer depending on how you drive

Specs say the '08 Focus has a 13.5 gallon tank.

Why do the tanks keep changing sizes???

'00-'04 - 13.2
'05-'07 -14.0
"08 - 13.5

Or, do the tank capacities really change?

I could get 430 miles consistently, but I drove it really soft and never used a/c. Now I get about 345 miles with a/c on sometimes and shifting around 2500-3000 rpms.

This thread makes me feel better.
I thought I was doing bad with getting around 250 miles on my daily drive.
I get around 300 sometimes, depending on how i drive.
I've gotten over 400 before on road trips though.

I get an average of 330-350 mixed between highway and city driving out of mine. I have also gotten 90 miles on it when the needle was on empty.
