Where to add tranny fluid on a manual?

Im going to change my tranny fluid on my 2000 Zx3 5spd. Its never been done. Where do i find the drain plug on the transmission and where do i add 2.1qts at??? I havent really looked for it yet but just checking ahead of time. Any special type of fluid to use

ok well, look under the front bumper and find your tranny. there should be a plug, theres several on it. we are referring to the one on bottom and one on the side. it will have a square in it. Just take a rachet (3/8in drive i believe) and put in there and twist, the plug will come out, theres one at the bottom as well to drain the tranny. after that its just like changing oil.

Had - AEM cai, Eibach Dampers/Sportline springs, FC Knobs, 98 Edition Euro Bumper, FC TB, FS strut bar, FC wire cover, FR plug wires, Eibach Sways(frt/rr), FC header, bosal flex, Borla 2.5 cat back.

i was assuming he meant manual because he was asking where he adds it at??? And the directions i gave are for a manual....

As far as I know, you do not change the fluid on manual trannys

Manual tranny fluid is synthetic and shouldn't be changed unless using a different fluid or you have high miles, I don't remember the service interval.

There are 2 plugs, 1 facing the engine oil pan, this is the drain plug. Then one facing the front of the car, this is the fill plug. They are 8mm hex plugs.

Well my car has 50k on it so i was thinking a good change wouldnt hurt. Im having some problem finding the gears and i thought maybe it was low or needed change i dont know. Anyone have pics of where these plugs are??

The 2003 Focus manual recommends changing the manual tranny fluid at 60K miles.
Then again at 120K miles.
