traction control

I think I read somewhere you get a little more power if you turn the traction control off, does this turn off the abs in the 08's seems it does in other years.

I have no idea, doesn't sound the safest though.

must be a reason you can turn it on and off though, this is a new feature for me, don't know what it's all about totally.

I have 2 different part #s for the K&N Drop-in. Looks like the first one is $44 and the second is $54. Can anyone confirm which one will work on my car? It's an 09 Coupe SES

K&N Part #s:

33-2401
E-2993

Thanks!

33-2401 fits 08 2.0 dura.. e-2993 does not sound like a k&n number

most k&n numbers start with 33- unless it is a intake kit.

call you local pepboys they have the right partnumber for yours,, however they DO NOT stock it,, get the number and buy autozone they will have to order it to. but cost less..

Thanks!

I ordered the 33-2401. My car only have 150 miles on it. Should I get it past the break in before swapping out the air filter? I know very little about cars but this seems to be the easiest upgrade I can do. Baby steps!

Also will this have any affect on my warranty? ex. if my engine fills up with sludge and seizes at ~30k (I know, not likely) will they just say the filter caused it and I'm screwed?

No, they cant void your warranty unless they can prove your mod was the direct cause of the problem. You may have issues (regarding warranty) with your MAS but i doubt it.

Here is so more info Magnusson Moss Act

the rear window should be the same size on the coupe and the sedan
So the window spoiler should fit

No they do not to my knowledge. I called my Ford dealership asking for one for my sedan and they said it wouldnt work. Only way you can get a rear window spoiler is contant mike of hilbish ford and buying one seperate off the 3d carbon body kit. He quoted me just under 200 painted.

i have a 09 sedan, i bought in january. i plan on getting fswerks cool-flow cai, bolt on exhaust, lower front stress bar, upper front stress bar, rear stress bar, and the steeda tb spacer. its still under warranty (duh :P) and i have no intentions on racing in any way with the focus(thats why i'm building a drag race car on the side). will these mods void any warranty?
