Derek,

F2 is in the process of a CAI for the PZEV motors, heres the right up;

"F2 Cold Air intake system is undergoing some minor changes in preparation for other things to come in the near future. This intake will fit 08-09 Focus with a PZEV engine, non-PZEV engines will get a new short ram version that is also coming out...."

Also, the AEM CAI on F2s site says it will fit an 08.

I also think that all exhaust systems for the 07 ST will fit the 08s (both flex back and cat back), I think I read that somewhere on FF or Mike from Hilbish told me when I asked about the Borla systems from FRPP.

Also, nice write up.

A couple of items straight from F2:

-They will NOT be selling SCT tunes for the '08+ Focus due to the fact that Focus Sport has paid for the exclusive rights to market the SCT tuner for the Focus (per Ricardo at F2)

-Their turbo kit will fit the '08+ Focus (they get around the tuning by piggy-backing the ECU with their own tune i.e. a small computer that is attached to the ECU and interfaces with the ECU. He got 278whp w/their turbo setup and I believe on stock internals)

Certainly some good news for those of us with the newer Foci.

I would stick to your 'car' budget - I'm on a tight budget too. Peruse the forums and check out everything that is said and then make your decision. I would personally group similar things together e.g. intake & exhaust or brakes & suspension, etc.

ive just started this whole forum thing so all this is new to me and im the only one out of my group of friends that has a domestic compact. so if you would suggest anything in particular (ie in any proven order) that should be done first it would really help.
