I would like to see a close up picture of your MIG weld showing penetration- without distortion of crystalline structure of the metal around it. You can get weld penetration but it requires excessive heat transfer using a MIG welder.

Does your alloy have flex?- As stated, it does not, and without flex any steel component is brittle. As to your road race/ drag experience with "cars that do wheelies", I am afraid to say that a race car/ road race car lives in a much different environment than a street car.

You need stiffness in a race environment where parts can be easily replaced and there are no road hazards, but trying to run purely race designed parts in a street car is a recipe for disaster when continued stresses of uneven roads, snow, salt, and potholes take their toll. No doubt your product might stand up to road race conditions, while lapping Thunderhill or taking on a drag track, but when it comes down to braving city streets, I have no faith in your product.

slowmazda3 was put in contact with the manufacturer of our front lower control arms. slowmazda3 is requesting a product that would be unnecessary and impractical due to manufacturing cost.

We did some research and we found several manufactures that MIG weld their control arms.

Our arms have greater quality and construction than the Focus Central arms, which a few had failed. We looked at the weakness of the Focus Central arms and corrected them, so we could offer a control arm that would not fail.

This is a streetable control arm, as it does allow for flex, and it has polyurethane bushings.

Question - can you adjust the spacing of the balljoint above the control arm to improve the rollcenter on a lowered car, and keep good camber gain?

Yes, Spacers can be added between the spindle and heim joint. I do not have the total amount of spacing possible yet, but I will find out.

Are the Heim Joints Adjustable so camber can be added or removed?

The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you? - It protects my head.

Do you have any special rituals when the helmet is concerned like many have? - I wipe it so that I can see better.
