Well, I'm gonna attempt the eyelids again today after I wash, clay and wax the Focus. While the paint's drying on them, I'll clean up the engine bay. Today is "Give My Focus Some TLC" Day.

I just dont want them to rust. theyre not stainless. Its going to be black any way not pink with polka dots


As a side point the hot rod got 40.5 MPG on our trip down to Oregon. Drove for five hours and didnt even use 3/4 of a tank of gas

^^Nah, painting them with some sort of rust preventor is prolly a good idea. It's not like the pipes are out in the open where people can see them anyway.

thats how my car was coming back... went 8 hours or so and used just over 3/4 tank of gas.. went from tacoma to middle of oregon.... man i still can't believe i made that drive!!!!
