The trip is going good. Still in south Dakota. My parents 35th anniversary party went well. I am sick as a dog right now though. BUT the focus is averaging about 41 MPG. So far we have racked up right around 1500 miles. It is kinda cramped for a family of four on that long of a drive. If are retarded Van had not of broke down we would have taken it...I hate that thing

yah i had my family of three on a trip this weekend..1500 round trip.... i was getting 33-35 most of the way... which sux cuz i was fighting headwidns the whole time with a loaded trunk full backseat and a lead foot....... OR sux... 65.. well atleast we weren't doing that slow... going up was going over that the whole way. coming back.. kida bad.... radar going off and following a light bar for almost an hour.

I think we averaged about 75 the whole way. Exsept for the time tena had to get away from a drunken Idot wanting to race us in Bell Fousche SD. He was a total dirt bag and she was kinda concerned that he was going to hit us.(GPS said she went 92.4 MPH) It was funny the guy blew his motor trying to catch her. I normally dont agree with going that fast on a public road but You could tell he was so I had tena "lose" him instead of getting wrecked by a drunked hilbilly. Lesser of the two evils I guess.....On a side note, Deer in South Dakota have a death wish. And they are really big. Good thing the focus has good brakes
