I had low fuel but i figured i would get some when i didnt have so much homework so i just went back to school. i saw my parking spot and pulled into it and no more than literally a half second later my car went... glug glug dead. i was like... well that sucks but hey im parked... crazy man.

I've never run out of gas (KNOCK WOOD) but I seem to have problems with the battery dying.

Of course, your car not starting is not always a battery problem, as I learned one morning about 10 yrs. ago. The Daytona wouldn't start so I called AAA. The guy came out to see if I needed a jump or a tow. He gets in the car, looks around, gets out and says, "Miss, get in here and look around. You tell me what's wrong."

So I comply and don't see anything wrong... Until I notice that I never put the car in park! I just left it in drive. Thank goodness that my folks' driveway was so level. I'd still be paying that one off

Any time my focus gets below a 1/4 tank its starts to die! So i look at 1/4 tank now as being empty

Not trying to be an ass, but that honestly wasn't funny.

I came in here expecting a hilarious story with ups and downs with a theatrical climax, and I was let down.

I want my money back.

I never let my tank get much below 1/4 of a tank. It is bad for your fuel system to let it get really low.

I think most cars don't light up until the reserve tank is in use. So when your light comes on you should still have at least 15 miles left. I usually keep my car pretty empty because it feels lighter.

15 Miles my arse!!! I was in Minnesota recently and got lost, just as my Gas Light came on. So I looked at the map. I followed the map to the next township. Yeah it was a church. I travelled and I am not kidding. 45 miles before I finally found a gas station. You wanna talk sweatin. I was sweatin. What made it worse was every five miles or so. The map said there was supposed to be a town. But everytime I came to where a town was supposed to be. There was only a church.
