'08 Mirrors on 00-07 Foci

I was just looking at a picture of the 2008 Focus mirrors, and they look like they have the same mounting setup as the 2000-2007 mirrors. I wonder if it's possible to put a set on a 00-07 focus.

I've looked at both of them close up thinking the same thing and actually tried a set on my car (My cool neighbor has an '08). The mounting is basically the same and with a little trimming it can fit. There will be a small gap at the top as they are shaped slightly differently though. Also, after putting it on, I stepped back and looked and they DON'T LOOK GOOD! They're too square and the ones that you have now look 1000 times better. They're just a touch too big and to boxy....almost looks like tow mirrors lol.

Yes you can put them one, but they won't have the OEM fit and finish to look good.

You're contradicting yourself there Either they look good or they don't lol.

No he's not. He is saying they do look good. But they are a tad too boxy and the round ones basically look better.
