what gearing does your jeep have anyway? my 4runner (looks like I'll be able to get it) is geared 4.56 with 31x10.50s stock lol
So what exactly are they about
In other words just car lovers or imports only? Or what

I have a 95 Cherokee with the straight 6, 4.0L with the AW4 auto transmission and a NP231 transfer case with 3.55 gears in the pumpkins. I am wanting to upgrade to 4.88 gears... or 4.56. Funny how I have a better final drive gear in my focus then in my jeep.

Looks like I need a new battery. Any suggestions on the best battery and the best place to buy one? I looked at the Odyessy/Hawker PC680, but am not sure if it's enough for a daily driver. I would like to find the smallest/lightest one that will work.

yeah it seems to be imports but it may just be coincidence. they love low and photography. cool guys but I didn't know they were car guys til I was out of high school!

I was looking at a 93 grand Cherokee 5.2 my boss has as well but its just not as nice as the runner.

edit: correction on that, they started as a small group but had. huge event now its pretty big.

I've always used the ford oem motorcraft batteries they come with a 7 year replacement
warranty. Haven't had one fail on me yet. For 80 bucks I feel like its a steal, now wether or not its the lightest one I don't know.

BTW does anyone know of a good cheap place that can rebuild my friends transmission? It's a Saturn

Must not sleep, must warn others.

Check it- http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/for...d/27247/page1/

I'd love to do a challenge like this..

I usually just go to Autozone and buy a Duralast and call it good.. they have decent warranties and they seem to hold up just fine.

I am however thinking about getting a motorcycle battery for the Miata! 6lbs ftw.

That is quite the project... the problem is I would want to keep mine for off roading and right now its also my DD... not sure how well some of those mods would work. Not to mention I think my wife would kill me if I started another project car. I need to finish the focus first.

Do many people relocate the battery to the back on the focus? I am thinking of doing that while I have the whole car torn apart. You need a battery box right, but when running a gel or solid battery like an optima (which I am) you don't need to worry about venting do you?
