Mark let's get that kit on!! Haha. Mike let's get that clutch changed.

Went back Wednesday to test and tune and was able to only get one pass in, but I better myself a little. 11.5@126.9. I'm am cutting 1.84 60'. I need to get it down into the low 1.7's and I should run an 10.9-11.2 on low boost. I am cutting soft lights by blowing the tires of on purpose. I am running on a set of autozone axles and they are super cheap and brittle.

meh besides fixing my persistent oil leak, I don't feel like working on my car for awhile. More excited about the beautiful 4runner.

New guy checking in here. Hello, my name is Paul and I am new to this site. Figured I would introduce myself here. I'm looking forward to when you have a meet next month. I have a pretty stock 03 ZX3. I bought it because I'm putting a Zetec in my 87 Vanagon and wanted to have a car with the same motor. I'm living in Pleasant Grove, but am in the process of buying 2 acres in Nampa, ID. I just retired from the Army and am moving closer to family. Hope to see you on the road from time to time.

ugh. well that decides that... guess I'll be going with the grand cherokee pictured as a reflection in that 4runner photo I posted. insurance is a ton more for the toyota and the jeep is slightly less than the mazda. wtf.

Got the timing belt, water pump, and valve cover done today. She's all buttoned up, I just need to replace the High pressure power steering line and I think that about does it for maintenance. Then it's time to start installing the turbo kit.. I have so much work left, it's sort of overwhelming.
Thanks to Mike, i called and bugged him a couple of times today for some info, and he even said he would come help next weekend! totally buying you lunch man.
Anyone else that wants to come is invited.
took me about 6 hours for it all, took my time and looked up a bunch of stuff along the way. me so tired.

Hate the Utah Salvage yards

Does anyone have a stock EGR tube/pipe that goes from the exhaust of a stock Zetec exhaust to the EGR valve itself? This is the tube most people cut when going to the SVT header.

I have gone to both Pick-N-Pull and Tear-A-Part and when they have had a motor that had everything as per state law I guess the cut the cat off... well that also goes for the EGR tube... there have been 5 tubes that "could" have been saved and I was willing to pay $$ for if the person spent 10-15 min just to unscrew the tube... and the salvage yards are not able to call or flag or do anything to make sure the next focus they get in I can grab that part... the system is FLAWED! Thanks for letting me rant...

I have a thread in the WTB section... hopefully that might grant me something of nothing locally.
