Well ill be honest if you truly want your car to survive the turbo process without any major damage, and you want to keep the car then get the fswerks kit. It's pricey but it will lastand you know that youre getting all the stuff needed for the install including tune . That thing has actually gone through a testing process to work out the kinks. So its pretty reliable imo, its like 3k though. You have to be sure your keeping the car because thats more like an investment

Would anyone here be interested in sharing cost to fly 1turbofocus (Tom) out here to do some dyno tuning? I think his cost is flight + room + cost of tune (up to $500) and then dyno time as well. Let me know if anyone is interested and if not, do you have some alternate tuning suggestions. Thanks. Also I would be interested in showing up at a G2G/BBQ/install, got some springs to put on.

No it's not just a manifold. If you get something cheap that has shotty craftmanship you could be in more trouble than you think if it breaks. The bov prevents pressure spikes which can cause your turbo to surge. Don't go cheap on this stuff if you want your motor to last. Otherwise you'll be spending a lot more than you would have if you would have just bought a good kit.

Agreed. FSWerks is reliable and has a good reputation. That's where I would start to look.

well it sounds as if we have people that need to install some things!! shall we plan a meet then?? i say plan for early October or late September so it cools down some. ?
i tinted my tails and side markers, it was a very easy job, i can give you some pointers.

you can always build your own kit Jake. i've got Toms kit waiting to be installed (i know i know) and essentially it's a kit that was put together. a lot of people run it and it works just fine.
but remember, Cheap, Reliable, Fast.. pick two!

having Tom come out would be awesome.. but how much would Dyno tuning cost?? i can get very cheap rooms at the Marriott. would he be flying from Mexico??

Haha alright. Sounds like no ebay kit then :) yeah, I plan on keeping this car. I own it straight up and I wanna keep it that way. I'll build it and rebuild it if I have to. Lol where would I find this kit at?

you can go to their website, FSWERKS.
for Toms kit, you can hit him up in his section-Focus Power.

i'm not sure if Tom is still "Making" his kit, but it's worth a shot. otherwise just keep an eye out in the Buy/Sell section.

Mark that sounds like a good time to plan it to me. My rear speakers are gonna be a bitch. Gotta remove the whole back seat. I might look into removing my spoiler and finding something to plug the holes with.

Personally I couldn't use Tom for anything so I'm out of that equation lol.

Tom hates them only cause there are people who will buy their stuff over his. Or at least that's the way some of the threads I've seen read.
