Decisions..

A) Sell my ZX3 and buy a Fiesta
B) Put $ into my ZX3 then sell it this summer to buy a 2012 Focus
C) Keep the ZX3 and save up for a 2012 Focus

Of course I'd choose C if I could afford to, or found a place to park 2 cars lol. I'm just trying to sort out how much money I need to put into my car, or how much it might even be worth to sell. I'm sure I could get 2500 at least for it, but then is that even worth it to me to get rid of my baby?

Have you driven either the new Fiesta or Focus? Thats where I would start, so you can narrow it down to A or B & C.

Yeah I drove a Fiesta hatch last week, I'm going to go check out the sedan this week. It had decent pep and handling, but if I were to go with the hatch with decent options, it pushes near 20k. For that much, I'd rather get a Tc for less money, 60 more HP, and more options. I'd prob only get a Fiesta now if it were around 15k, so that may limit me to a sedan.

Of course the perfect scenario would be to get a Focus ST, but I doubt I'll be able to afford it this year. Maybe next.

I actually like the fiesta. Spent some good time working on one too (got to see all the insides :))

option A or C id go with...b youd probably not get more out of it and you wasted your money.

Yeah the $$ is just small stuff, or comfort stuff.. I need a new battery, alignment, tuneup, and I'd like to get some audio in there finally, maybe a darker tint.. haha so mostly just wants but a few needs to keep her in top shape. I wouldn't be able to sell her for anything as a trade, so I'd have to find some kid on the west side probably to buy it, then use the cash to put suspension and a few quick mods on the new ride. But there again is my debate over a Tc and Fiesta, cuz it comes out of the box without the Ford factory 4x4 ride height. :P

fiestas are sweet man, buuuut the 2012 focus is by far the best option!

if i were you i would hang onto my focus, and NOT buy a new ST, new cars are for the birds. but i would save up for 2 MAYBE 3 years and then get the ST. by then all the kinks should be worked out.

Yeah that's option D and prob the best one. I really don't want to get rid of mine. With TLC I'm sure to get another 100k out of her, and save myself car payments. Damn my ADD and attraction to new shiny things!

I personally hate the look of the fiesta. Not my cup of tea at all. I agree with Mark. Wait for the ST to be out for a couple years then get it.

yeah thats what im doing....im hoping in a couple of years i can snag a used f150 raptor.... awesome truck but without the 40 or so tag on it
