i know what you mean man i was on freaking focaljet for a long time looking for locals. Then i find out they all chill here

i got 2 shops that i know are pretty good....

for paint and body id go with ABRA, they're really good and they guarantee their work for life, when i went through them it was an insurance issue so price was not taken into consideration for me.

the other shop i like to go to for maintenance or for installing mods if im too lazy is this one master muffler on 5400s and 4000w. These guys are really good, the owner (chad i think) owns a turboed 02 svt with a ton of crap done to it. Just know that in this master muffler your focus is in good hands

Well lets see you can prep and paint your wheels in an hour like i did or you can flow the instructions and have longer lasting paint lol. (i also started to do the clear coat really thick which made them very smooth but i didnt have proper adhesion. To fix that im taking a 3m pad and going over them to remove any loose paint. From there ill try to rough them up a bit more with 400 grit and decide whether or not i want to use primer or end up with a green base coat and orange wheels lol so when they get scratched it shows green not metal. Then ill do a lot of clear coat the right way.


Btw "this temperature" is early spring down here lol. Its nice.

Ya I don't really want to half ass this one. I want it to last. But what do you guys think about the color combos? I'm kinda unsure if I want solid black or black/red or black/orange.

if i were to paint my own wheels i would take my time and let every coat dry. i'd rather not have to do them again and again and again.

Oh, thanks. I might stop by there sometime just to see if his car is there.

There are a lot of other cars that I'd like to have, but I hope to always have a focus hatch, I'm just addicted to that shape, plus the coolness of the WRC cars.

Mini Cooper S is a lot of fun. Very go-kart like. I can't wait the see the Mini Countryman in WRC this season. Should be cool. As an alternative to Evos and STis, it would be cool to own the hatchback Rally Art Lancer. Not very common, only kind of ugly, and turbo with all wheels drive, I just wish they didn't plow the roads here, kind of makes having AWD irrelevant. In other words, snow plows ruin all my fun.
