I decided to keep mine, I went and put the ecu in it today to save me a little money, and hopefully it should be up and running by tomorrow

Mark when you get plugs make sure they are the same length as the ones in it, I had a hell of a time finding the right ones the first time I did mine.

good new Vince! we'll have to have a black SVTF photo shoot! that would be sick. i need a new fog light.. any suggestions? i wanna see the ones you just got.

aren't all the SVT wires the same size?

i got a 1998 dodge 1500 ext cab
like i said the interior is a bit beat up, some tearing
a craked rear light and some scratches on the paint. But for 3k i got an awesome truck ill post some pics of it later, i just barely got it like 2 hours ago

Wire are but plugs from the local parts store are usually not right

And as for the for the fogs I've never had to buy new glass, I just have the hid in the stock housing, wich I know now why your not suppost to do that. Hids in reflector housings bright as hell and glare like a mofo

Ohh I see. I've heard the motorcraft copper cores are pefect for the svt I thinknill snag them.

Fogs on the other hand... I dunno.

Also how are Koni springs?
I want the same yellows you have but I'm leaning towards h&r race springs.. Nice and stiff lol

get the copper cores from summitracing.com. cheapest place ive found yet. i got 2 sets for 21 shipped and cfm was like 23 for 1 set

after I paint some panels of my bike gold tomorrow, I'm gonna check my spark plugs and see what I have. I haven't ever done it in my possession yet, and I actually fear they may be bosch platinums... which may be why I can only go 89 tops.... lol. will replace with ngk v powers :)

this is what i plan on doing this weekend to the new car, if you think of anything else please say.

oil&filter (5w20 is what i used on my dura, same for SVT?)
spark plugs
spark plug wires
fuel filter
maybe clean MAF and TB?
k&n filter
tranny fluid (royal purple work in these things?)
oh and since i'm already low, coolant flush.

pick yourself up an svt service manual.... and I'd use 5w 30 but hey it doesn't really matter, the other will be fine.

I don't see the need for cleaning tb though. maf will be worth it if its dirty.

do you have record of your timing belt water pump change? remember now that svt is an interference motor :)
