no problem. I was gonna offer to do it for you but..... well. the other thing means you could bring it in every week just for the hell of it.

BTW I feel proud of myself today. I was managing the shop by myself (happens all too often now LOL) and this guy called and asked if he could bring the car in and have us look at it, so I said sure we'll see ya.

When he got there, I told him Bryce wasn't here today but I'll do my best to help him out. He popped the hood and pointed at this device in the engine bay that had about four or five hoses attached to it, and said "Sometimes, but not all the time, coolant is leaking from that thing. Do you have any idea what that is or why it's leaking?"

lucky me I actually DID recognize the device. I said "That's your heater control valve... and they do leak when they get old" so he says "Hmm maybe that's why my heater doesn't work. So if you replace that it'll probably fix the heater too?" I said it should

yay for knowledge

We don't have room for an alignment machine. I was actually referring to school because we have the state of the art one, but that kinda tends to be a bad experience.....lol.

No anyway, we actually send it off to Big O across the street. Am I happy with them? NOT really, they left my boss' truck in the parking lot with the window all the way down, with it raining, and the keys in it. oh and one of those cones on the roof.

They couldn't find the keys and I was like WTF? they said "Oh they might be in the truck." Well I'm thinking OK no big deal, it happens.....but not with it raining and the window open :|. Anyway, I had to go back inside with the cone and bitched them out. They ask "were they in there?" "YEAH. OH and you guys might need this back....... and I need some paper towels since the door's just a LITTLE wet on the inside......."

anyway it was a Chev 2 door blazer or Tahoe (my love truck LOL. I want one so badly sometimes) I'd actually never seen one in a chevy before (the one I changed was in a Ford Ranger......but same basic idea and location)

I was gonna say. If was the same car you should probably get your alternator tested to make sure it still charges and what not.

yes yes the mount was on the to do list, but i ended up spending a ton of time with my girlfriend and i didn't get it done! just the motor mount and bad lca.. and trust me those were enough! my arms are still sore.

and this isn't technically my last weekend. but it is if i want it to be done by the 20th (first race) so i'll try to get it done. i may just do the other LCA one of the nicer days this week.

no this could all be eliminated if i cleaned/fixed my garage up.. i will i will. this spring.

I wish I had use of my garage. We're getting a discount on our rent letting our landlord use it as a storage shed.
