I'm thinking of getting a Marble(my last name) and have "Marble Est. 1982" around it on the back of my leg. Then I can add other Marbles and dates to represent my children down the road. And I'm wanting to get a "Lady Luck" Tat on my right arm. I have an Eagle and American Flag on my left arm.

Both my wife and I agree to NEVER get a wife/gf/husband/bf name tattoo. You never know if something can happen between the two of you. And that shit hurts to get removed from what I've heard.

Yup that's my daughter. I was telling the tattoo artist that "this little shit better be greatful for everything I've done for here when she gets older" lol. It was definitely worth it though.

I'm trying to think if there is anything I need from there. I have work off on friday and could probably go with if I have a reason to go.

mini meet!

I'll be working at the shop at 2pm though, but if anyone wants to go earlier that's cool. guess we gotta work out a time then lol. I won't be buying the head (IF I find a suitable vehicle that is. I called them, they've got two there and I bet they're still the V6 models)

If they DO have a good head available, I'll at least try to pull it Friday, and hide it off like in the trunk or something then just go grab it monday or wednesday.

so lol I'm looking at costs here...... I could buy a pair of silver star ultras to put into my ugly hazed headlight housings on the Mazda. OR I could just buy two new replacement headlights that come WITH bulbs, for the same price shipped. LOL.

yeah damn this car is starting to become an expensive lil bitch (granted for what it is, it is not at all)

but sweet my junkyard sells batteries with a 90 day warranty for $22. (core charge. LOL)

so I need these:

Fuel pump
Water pump
head (or valves. hopefully the head though. it will be cheaper)
head gasket
stupid head bolts (torque to yield can suck my balls)
battery
and a timing belt that I already have

to make it roadworthy?
all of the above
Either headlights or just the bulbs (like I said, same price better look lol)
4 tires (junkyard specials. I think they're like $15-20 each.)
figure out why driver's side tail light doesn't work (probably not hooked up. teacher used it for shop demo on braking systems last year. LOL)
half of the gauge cluster does not light up (not an issue, but will be for night time driving)
probably needs new wipers

then what I want to do to it:
oil change
cooling system flush
brake fluid flush
sand prime paint clear the rust spots on the passenger side
patch up the front bumper (maybe. probably just a new one down the line since they're so cheap)
paint the steelies flat black, then get some cheapo (but neat looking) hub caps, then paint them white

while the valve cover is off I'd like to paint that white as well.....

yeah so sounds like I'll probably grab a battery ($22 after core charge! :)) Friday, check out the cars (look for proteges as well.....those have the same engine. I'll find out every one of them that it works on) and if I don't find any good ones I'll just have to order the valves.

I'll also look at tires too and see what they cost.
