good job leaving people hanging mark. LOL

I got all of it done but the rear shocks. I got kicked out of shop class, but if I knew I would have just done the fronts.....

now the damn struts went too far into the knuckle and won't come out nor will they allow the pinch bolts to go in. I've had the weight of the car plus more pushing up on the strut and it wouldn't budge a bit.

the other side on the rear was rusted up badly for some reason. every other bolt on the car came out fine but that one. The bushing in that is shot now, isn't there some aftermarket ones you can get?

this is his unsettled drop though. when I had mine next to it mine was still a bit lower, but his looks more dropped. LOL.

Mike. isn't the nut welded to the LCA?

yeah, when i picked it up it looked lower then that pic up there^^ i can't wait to see it in two weeks! and then when i put my 17s on!

oh yeah that's right mark...... you noticed that too. it IS supposed to be welded on. it snapped off but we got it tight. Damn I forgot about that so you either need to weld that back on or replace the LCA. HEY good thing for getting new LCA bolts though. they are actually the same exact size as the pinch bolts IIRC.

There is a nut that should come with the new bolt to replace the one that was welded on to the control blade. You don't need to weld the new nut onto the control blade. Also, you can take a rubber mallet to the knuckle to coax the strut body out enough to place the pinch bolt back in.

Mark, Energy suspension makes an entire polyurathane bushing kit for the focus, but you need to reuse your old control arms and suspension links.

^^ I THOUGHT so..... as far as bushings are concerned. I think someone recommended myself to do it as well.

no need for new LCAs then mark. :)

and yeah I'll help ya out with those shocks tomorrow then. the struts I don't have a damn clue like I've been saying lol.

I can has 17" wheels though? LOL. you do that and it'll look even more dropped then mine. it's all just black like a gap with my 15" wheels I don't know if I remembered to take this picture, but I THOUGHT I had one of both our cars right next to each other and my wheel wells were lower than yours

yeah, but if the bushing kit is more then 56 bucks then i might as well just get a new control arm..

yo analog, Mike didn't have to use the bump stops, the dynamic kit actually has them built in, pretty sweet if you ask me.

i don't think they'll budge with a rubber mallet.. i'll give it a shot tomorrow.

i can't wait to put the 17s on. maybe i'll try them on tomorrow too. :)
