@ marbs. I drive a blue 2006 zx3. Just go it last friday. Right now I'm in the process of giving it a real thorough look-over to catch up on any maintenance that may have been lacking.

But I got it with only 24k miles on it so it can't be too far into disrepair. Any suggestions on what I should check?

Right now I'm replacing the spark plugs and the ignition coil over cylinder 4. got a misfire code on that the other day p0304 (which then magically disappeared).

I'm looking into a couple mods but haven't decided on anything yet.

So you're painting your whole interior? I wouldn't trust myself to do that in a million years.

other than that.... I lost my passenger side fenderwell liner, as well as the center cap for that wheel. also cracked the other side of the lower grille, and that thing almost fell out.
Not cool, not cool at all :( you shoulda stopped!! if the dog wasn't on a leash I don't think it's your fault. but there may be a penalty for leaving the "scene"

Painting it is the easy part. taking it out and putting it back in is another story. Headliner is prolly the HARDEST part. can't imagine how hard for a sedan..

I want to paint my headliner along when I paint the rest of the interior. The nice thing is my car came stock with black carpet so I don't have to worry about painting that. But the headliner I imagine will be a pain in the ass to get done.

Dusty just do your basic oils change and Fuel filter so you know when it was last done and that it HAS been done. As far as mods get a nice CAI and a NICe Exhaust. I personally recommend MBRP 2.25 exhaust I LOVE the sound of it. Gives it a nice tone and not rice at all.

Mike that SUCKS. I can understand,in a way, not stopping, but you should have. When I was taking drivers ed I had to stop one of the other drivers from hitting a dog. The dog was running at us head on and neither the instructor or guy driving saw it. Man that was a LONG time ago.

Spend 2 days and go through this entire thread and see who was talking about going and send them a PM to find out. That's what the guys did for the AZ meet. One guy went through and found everyone in AZ and sent them a PM, you could do the same for everyone in the UT area.

I know... that's actually one of the worst parts I feel about it... not stopping. found an officer on duty that said I'm fine but I need to stop next time (wont happen ever again)

trouble is, I keep getting those thoughts in my head like who's was it, and what did it mean to them..... for all I know it could have been some kid's best friend. that's what's been depressing me the most about it. it just plain sucks.

listen btw... what was that good salvage yard that had foci in it? where is it? I'm gonna go tru to find some parts later this morning.
