Pros of the shorty header are you maintain low end torque and you can also stay emissions legal by using a high flow cat, the cons are less hp/torque than a long tube header

Pros of a long tube header are great top end torque/hp, but you can't stay emissions legal unless you weld a HFC to the flex, and it will trip ur CEL unless you get a tune or go and get an o2 cheater.

another con of longtube is you exhaust will be quite loud. but both do have good advantages compared to stock if your not worried about your neighbors or emissions then longtube all the way the svt header is the best out there cause you can use a svt cat or off road pipe and switch them back and forth.

^^^ i agree.. but after you do it.. they aren't bad to do again. I can do it relatively quick... i also have a svt p/s line too so i have more room to get at that far left bolt. and i use anti seize on the bolts under the car too

Yeah, but you can get around that. I run a long tube and a 2 1/2 in flex, but with the FocusSport Stealth exhaust its just a little louder than stock

The SVT header is the best header on the market, You wont loose any bottom and will gain from 2000 to 7000, there are a few out there long tube that do loose bottom end but thats because the research wasent done and they just made parts to be selling them
