Question K&N Air Intake FIPK 2 Part 57-2559

I purchased and installed the K&N FIPK Part 57-2559 and it feels like the car loose low RPM torque. The car feels a bit stornger at the 4,000-5,500 RPMS. Why is this? Is there anything wrong with this product or it's just the way it is?

well the heat is what causes it to do that..even with a tune mine still bogs when its really hot. but at night when it cools down the car runs real smooth...

check all connections, make sure its tight and a straight path to the throttle body. check the extra air fitting that goes back to the valve cover. reset your computer when you installed?

I have the same intake and it pulled like a beast after, an improvement at just about every rpm

I have the same intake and had not problems with it. I would pull the negative battery cable off for 10 mins if you have not done that yet.

a lot of times you just feel like you lose low-end torque because you gain everywhere else...however with a true CAI like the FIPK and not a "HAI" like the steeda SRI you should never actually LOSE power at lower speeds or rpms...
