I've been looking at getting a set, but I just bought some new 16" Nitto's. I might just have to try to talk the BOSS into it though.

The wheels by themselves are now on the site for $399/no tires BTW.
Sent an email to the website. Just need to know the specs plz.
Offset, weight, finish, forged or machined etc.
Also. Is this a strong wheel as compared to stock?

Thanks

Dang that's heavy. The 8" wheels on my Miata weigh barely half that. I'll have to weigh the stock 6's when I get new tires for the Fucus.

Its pretty average.

So your saying your barely half that? So less than 11 lbs? Is it a 13 inch wheel!?

Thats pretty incredible. Stock 16's are about 22lbs a wheel as well IIRC.

They're 15x8, designed specifically for the Miata, and weigh about 12.3#.
This guy owns a tire store in CA. He did the design himself, had an engineering analysis done and had these made. Mine were part of the first batch.
See www.949racing.com

I'm surprised there isn't a low-priced, lightweight wheel for the Focus. There's so many more out there than Miatas.
