Auto to manual?

If you paid for labor? About $4-5000.

^^ If thats not an option, like for myself, when you have 2 car payments and owe a ton still on one said auto focus, then how much might such an operation cost, without labor?

around $1500-$2000, its more than just droping the trany in the focus, you have to swap out the ecu and im pretty sure you need a new engine wire harness, im sure you could find all this at a junk yard, but i wouldnt risk it being thats its a big project

Are you kidding me? My friend just got an auto to manual swap in his Mustang for $475. It's quite cheap, if you find the right places. Maybe it's just around here?

I made a how to thread (under another screenname) for this.

You DO NOT need a new ECU or an engine harness. Just modify your existing harness.
