just start to go when the last yellow light shows up. i was getting like .153 or worse when i was doing it. but i wasn't shifting right. i wasn't ragging the piss out of my car since i live like a hour away from that track.

reaction time was .48 on that run.

I have Tom's 93 octane tune, the car weights close to 2800Lbs with me inside and it was HOT and muggy out that night.

I want a 15.5 out of the Focus but I don't know...

Picking up 1.1 seconds is going to be a little tough without going Nitrous/Turbo/Supercharged/Full Built NA.

not tryin to build myself up, but I've been to the track ALOT in my fofo and when I had my subaru and I pretty much know what I am doing, maybe 300 runs total between all the cars, I pegged a 14.8 in my fofo and that was w/ an lsd, weight reduction, and 164 whp. you will not break into the low 15's w/o alot more power wether it b FI, nitrous, fully built NA or about 1000 lbs out of ur car!!! heck, the svt runs about 145 whp and only runs a 15.3 w/ a good driver!!

YEah... I think I should be able to get into the 15s with what I have done to the car, even a 16.0 flat would be okay with me. I want to install some adj. cam gears and get a few dyno runs to tune her. But thats next year sometime.

I think 1.1 sec is a lot to ask, but the car is not stock and should run better than a 16.7.

edit: I should try to learn how to drive her a little better out there too, might shave a few tenths off with a nice .25 reaction and a good smooth launch.

Before I sold it I took my stock 2.0 Zetec ZX2 to the 1.4 mile track once, my best time was 17.2 sec, and the manufacturer's listed time was 16.9

I haven't had my ZX3 on the 1/4 mile yet, but its best time on the 1,000ft track was 12.98 @ 81.43mph. Read my sig for my mods.

I still want to get a racing clutch, a limited slip diff, and a 67mm throttle body. But alas, they cost money
