Price of lowering spring installation

I am kind of financially strapped right now, and so when I looked for a decent suspension fix, I fell upon the lowering spring concept. I was originally going to install them myself, but they have a lifetime warranty that is voided if not professionally installed.

Does anyone know how much it costs for a pro to do this? I went to a couple of shops and one said $300 and the other said $500... Hopefully there is something lower than that...

I had to have my front springs relaced due to one of them breaking while driving. It cost me $200 for just the front springs at a local shop (I later found out that Ford would do it for free. but whatever, they reimbursed me for the labor). I know the rear ones aren't as hard to install, but $300 doesn't seem too high. I would wait for more opinions from other members though, because I don't know what other people have paid.

By decent suspension fix you mean???? If you can't afford $259 for the SVT Kit, then wait- you'll save in the end.

I personally would not swap lowering springs on to a stock shock, it took me 7 years but I got dropped. Dampers and all.

I actually got some springs for free... so I was wondering how much it would cost for the install

But I have looked at the SVT kit, and I do like it... Is it worth the money? Is it possible to do it yourself or is it too complicated?
