Help me beat a 2000 Civic SI

OK guys, here is where I'm at. My friend purchased a 2000 Civic SI and has already ordered a K20 (Acura RSX) engine/tranny to install into the Civic. This engine puts out 220 at the crank, but not sure what it puts down to the wheels. Anyways. I don't want to be put in a position where I'm going to lose to my friend (bragging rights). What is it that you guys suggest I do to ensure that I stay ahead of him? Thinking FI, but wanted to know what you guys would suggest. Keep in mind, this is still going to be my daily driver.

Oh, and don't worry about price (for now). I don't necessarily need to blow him out of the water, I just want to beat him.

(Mods, Please keep this in the AZ regional forum. I posted here on purpose)

I'm starting to lean that way. CFM has it for 3199.95 with free shipping. Can I find it somewhere else cheaper? Would I need to upgrade the clutch? I know that I will need a tune to get the most out of this. Looks like I have to sell the ol' ZX3 to raise the money. Would anyone here in AZ be able to help me install this beast?

Powerworks, 5-Speed MTX tranny, Stage 1 or 2 clutch, 2 1/2" exhaust, LSD, big boost Kit, aggressive cams, rods, pistons, tune, drop, body kit, tint, air freshener, drag radials, gut the interior, Sparco hand brake cover, and 4.06 gears will prolly work nice

Oh and while your at it, Kitchen sink too!

Well, mainly the first couple of those there will do good, but while you're at it

Is your friend looking at turbos too? If so, you're screwed...lol

oh no you didnt ust tell a FF member to go to FJ

3195 is the cheapest you can get a PW for right now. there are only a few new units left. so if you want it, you should jump now.

the new Xios turbo kit for the SVT is a good option also. much easier to install and maintain than the powerworks, unless you're wanting this for the ZX3. I think Xios is also making a kit for the ZX3.

I just looked into this kit. $4250 is way too much for me.
I'm OK in selling my ZX3 to get the money for the powerworks, but if I go with the Xios kit, then I have to sell my motorcycle...and that wont be happening
