2005 ZX4 Stealth C.A.I. Cost $24

Just took out lifetime air box that had 123,000 miles on it . Kept everything the same just took out air box and put a cone air filter cheap and easy modification. Car sounds great and feels faster. Message me for any questions.

Hey Tanker,
Any concerns about sucking up water during one of those epic thunderstorms you get from time to time?

The filter is protected from direct contact from the front bumper, under the car by the lower splash shield and from the front tire by the splash shield/fender liner there. It also is still sitting about a foot off the ground. It will get some indirect spray to the filter element, sure but it would still need to be fully immersed for it to act as a straw to suck up water to hydrolock itself.

Avoiding standing water is key but you would really need to get hit with an epic splash or drive somewhere with unsafe depth of water, which you should be avoiding anyways. Ive driven in many downpours and rain and have been fine. My car also sits lower to the ground and this is with the FSWerks CAI too.
