NJ MOtorsports Park - Thunderbolt Raceway

I was just tapped to instruct at an invent in October for Mercedes benz.

It is their national competition called Tri-O-Rama.

It is being held at NJ Motorsports Park on the Thunderbolt Raceway.

Does anyone have experience with this track?

This is the first year its open and I was hoping that some fello "Track Junkies" might have logged a few laps to give an overview for me.

The official site doesn't offer much in the way of anything other than a map.

Thunderbolt was opened last week, so I think you are going to find experience on the track at a bare minimum. (and last week was an open house doing parade laps I believe)

The owners were at the SVTOA dinner talking about it. Being a built-from-scratch track, there isn't much in elevation changes. I can't remember much details about the turns. They did have a short video of it while under construction. I'll see if I can find if that was ever posted online.
