I say go ahead and file a police report.
You've got his phone number, it can't be too hard for the fuzz to track him down. You have your shipping and paypal receipts and you can print out the agreement you made with whitehomo, right? File a report ASAP

The only reason his account hasn't been banned yet is because I'm leaving it open for him to communicate with the original seller/buyer.
I agree with MisterJohnson, probably a good time now to file a Police report. Since this happened via the internet and across state lines, you can get him for Mail and Wire Fraud which is a Federal Offense. I also believe he is serving in the military, so you might look into sending his CO a friendly letter as well. |

You got lucky only having your car broken into. I read a story about this guy scamming people by selling CB radios on the internet. He got blown to pieces by a pipebomb that came in a parcel. You can google it if you're interested in the story: Chris Marquis of Fair Haven, Vermont. Think twice if you decide to scam others again.
