Window Switch LEDs
Alright so maybe I am an idiot or something but how do I take this switch apart so I can replace the LED? I don't want to rip the top off the switch in fear of breaking it... could someone tell me how to remove the top of the switch so I can get to the LED?

there are a few write ups on how to do it... i cant remember what the thread titles are, but if you search you'll find them.

yeah I've searched... they mostly just talk about what they did doesn;t say how to remove the switch or to get to the led... :-(

Well, I took a risk and I got it off... However there is a bulb inside here... I bought: http://www.oznium.com/plcc-2 as I saw on one of the threads around here... do the Window switches require a different LED? I am beginning to think I might not be cut out to try this lol. But I will still try...
Should I be using http://www.oznium.com/led for inside the switches? Also would I need resistors inside there?How could I also know which side is positive and which is negative inside the switch as well? Sorry for all the stupid questions :( |

This is all for a 2007 Focus BTW... which is why I am rather confused since all the writeups I have seen are for pre 05 focus :( Has anyone does this with an 05 - 07 focus?
