Would these help? http://www.rhinoramps.com/product.html I got mine at AutoZone for 39.99. It's nice to be able to raise the car by simply driving up on them (note to everyone and anyone - always use jacks stands no matter how you raise your car - no one around here is allowed to die or get seriously injured because their car slipped off a jack or a stand collapsed while they were under their car)

Sounds good...

I am impressed with the sound. You know...any exhaust shop should be able to put in a straight pipe for very little money. I realize that the flex pipe wasn't the "Jump up and down" part on the list and you are just waiting for an actual muffler tip set up... which is fine. It sounds surprisingly good. I figure it should last you long enough to save up. Good job man. I like the "cackle"...

They wanted 70 bucks. not worth it, so i took matters into my own hands.

that 70 bucks is all labor. . . did you try to talk them down? a full cat back straight pipe on my last car would have cost me $40.... would have been crushed bent steel... but whatever right? lol.

i'm debating on doing this... i did this before... and i went through 4-5 different exhausts... i want to do it right the first time.. so let me know how the flex stuff holds up to the weather. maybe i'll be doing this....

spray with silicone spray for the header wrap stuff. worth a try.

yup. it's been thundershowers for the last two weeks. It rains for 2 or 3 days, then sunshine, then rain again for another 3 days. well that beens the pattern so far.
