I just had to replace all four tires yesterday. I got BFGs but thats not it.

This is what my front passenger side tire looked like.

I was wondering if you guys knew what that was caused from.

I think its more than just an alignment problem. Did you know if the previous owner installed a camber kit? I remember you said it was a 2" drop?

I dont really know I would have to ask him. This really scared the crap out of me because I noticed this the day I got back from Vegas so I might have driven there and back like that. :s I really need this to be fixed though because I dont want this to happen to my new tires.

First off, please tell me you went to Nathan at Discount for your tires. ;)

Second, is that the ONLY tire that has the uneven wear? How many miles do you have on your car? When was your last alignment done? It could be a product of a bad wheel bearing if you have enough miles, or an improper alignment if you haven't had one since you lowered the car.

Ya im thinking that I either want to put the stock suspension back on or find one to raise it up a bit.

My car isn't lowered, but I had the same thing happen to my two front tires, found it just before I moved out here. In my case, it was purely bad alignment.....the tech (who I knew through a friend of a friend) told me from what he could tell, some idiot aligned it so the car would drive straight, but they must have adjusted things until it did without a rack. He did mention that Ford's specs for the SVTF are not very specific, and it is ver hard to dial the alignment in just right.
