The only car in Ford's 2008 line up that offers EATC is the Taurus Limited. I also found this;

It doesn't happen overnight. Like I said, you need to get the part number and do some cross-checking with wiring diagrams.

someone should find out if the steering wheels works in older foci. i like the look of it better. (i dont care if the airbag and cruise dont work, hell they dont even need to be there...

I want to resurrect this thread. 09 Focus Job 2, will be getting the thermometer and the compass....Will it be possible to add this to our cars?

Also curious! I haven't had a chance to go out and look closely at my display, but I'll do that next chance I get.
I hope there is a way to do this! I would have preferred the compass and temperature display over the ambient lighting... but the lighting is still pretty cool :)

I also noticed the extra stuff in the display center when I bought mine and looked at a friend of mines ses. His doesnt work either but his compass and temp are in the mirror corner

Brad did you figure this out yet? I was curious about the same thing when the sun hit my display the other day and there was ice on my windshield!!

I wonder how different the message center from the 2009 FoFo is from the 2008. It looks as if the 09 have the direction and external temperature -- that are actually functional! Did anybody figure out part numbers and/or wiring?
