First gen headlights....all same?

Are all the first gen Focus headlight buckets the same? I found a new set of them from a 2003 and have a 2004 and want to know if they are a dirrect swap in. Thanks!

All headlights from 00 - 04 will be the same shape and will bolt right in. As for the wiring, well that all depends on the light you get. If it's a set of OEM Mach's then no - you have to re-wire them, same with all Euro OEM's as well. I don't know of any aftermarkets that are a direct swap without some wiring either.

If your headlights look like this:

And you are replacing with the same type, then you will be fine.

Mines an 04 lights came off an 03 so they look identical but in perfect condition and mine are all sunhazed. How do I get them off after removal of the two bolts that hold the corner on the fender, and the back? There is another grommet or something on the inside corner behind the housing by the grille, how does that release?
