mine does this when it was cold outside i got under the pedals and looked up there there was a spring i sprayed it good with wd40 and i ant heard no noise for the longest time :)

i purchased a used 2004 focus on monday, love it but it's doing the squeaky thing when the clutch pedal is pressed down hard, when you use slight smooth hill start like clutch skills it seldom happens. i have ocd help me! although its niggley it is doing my head in. i'm not mechanically minded though!
