Looks like an O2 sensor for your exhaust. Why its specifically for the S2, I don't know. Same engine.
You have two O2 sensors in the exhaust stream, one before the cat, and one after. Its so the ECU can sense how well the engine is running, and if the cat is working correctly.  , that's hillarious soffiler. I assumed anyone that knew anything bout cars knew what an oxygen sensor was. Sorry Solaris, not makin fun of ya, it was just funny overall

ya well i could tel lthat it was an 02 sensor but if u guys were smart enough to read u would see it says Ford Focus S2, i want to know why it would be different for an S2

Personally, I would never buy an O2 sensor off the 'net. Just go to the dealer and be done with it. The last couple times I tried aftermarket emissions parts they didn't fit right. This was the O2 sensor for my '97 F-250. The one they sold me at my local (normally excellent) NAPA store looked like any other O2 sensor with a harness about a foot long but once I got under the truck I discovered the O2 sensor I really needed had a harness like 2 feet long. No problemo at dealer. |
