Nice thanks for the link.

To answer a few more questions:

1) This design is only for the Coupe, no word on if it will be available for the Sedan. I think if its a success, I'm sure Ford will make it available.

2) These options are ONLY for the SES trim.

There are also Cliff Notes at the very bottom of post #1 for those who don't want to read the whole article.

i will say at least there moving in the right direction. it looks much better with the dark grill and the 17in rims. give us a 2.3 some rear disk brakes and maybe a hatch. i might even trade in my 06

Its a step in the right direction, but still not enough. There is still something about it that turns me off, but I can't really put my finger on it.

Granted, I would perfer a hatch, a more powerful engine, and a stiffer suspension, but I guess there aren't many people like me that would buy that.

What happened to the rear-headrests that were supposed to added for MY2009?

As far as the cosmetic changes, the foglights look better, but overall the car IMO is still a mishmash of lines that give me a very unbalanced perception of what the design is trying to say.

But I applaud Ford for appearing to be trying to appeal to whoever they are getting their feedback from. Its a step in the right direction and should help build some positive consumer perception of Ford N.A

Edit-and for those couple of posters that say this redesign on the front makes it look like the Euro Focus, you need glasses.

You are completely right, of course. I, for one, had to TRY very hard to say nice things about it, due to being castigated here on FF for negativity...

That's because Europeans are SMART and, in general, have taste. Here? not so much.

Sorry if you were doggin me, Tom, but I did read the whole post and didn't catch what trim this coupe's features would come in for. It's still beautiful nonetheless.
