holy i love it.. the new bumper is totally like the new ford face from Europe where they get the good Fords.. they deleted the stupid fake chrome side intake.. they added nice rims.. Still if i had an 08 i'd just get the rims and the bumper myself for $1000 bucks less haha.

Ford is alive though. Can't wait to see them introduce ECO BOOST!! Till then ill keep my 05 zx4 thanks :)

Looks great!! very nice appearance wise! Could be a bit more aggresive though.....

It needs more SVT

Dodge and Chevy can do it....? FI ! ftw!

As an '08 owner, I'm really happy to see this. It's tweaked and improved. As far as I can tell, this is an option package for the SE/SES?

I have no regrets with my '08 though, because :

(1)- The S didn't come with Chrome thingies.

(2)- I'm gonna get an intake/tune that will far exceed 143hp ;)

(3)- I'm doing my own aftermarket wheels/tires.

I think they did better on the bumpers for sure, but that's what aftermarket or OEM parts are for heheh. I might jump on a set sometime down the line.

I'd probably feel differently if I'd just picked up a SES or something. But yeah, I'm quite happy with what I've got, and what it's capable of. This is really only good news for '08 owners, because :

It'll translate to higher sales, which means more aftermarket goodies for this gen all around. Win/win/win.

Thanks Tom and FF! Sweet stuff.

Hey Tom I don't know if you know this already or not but you made it on Yahoo's article for the 09 Focus Coupe:
Quote:
"The new coupe looks really sporty," said Thomas, co-founder of www.focusfanatics.com and Ford Focus owner. "It is great to see that Ford values our feedback and is willing to make quick changes."

Didn't someone already post this pic somewhere?

Looks good, and should hit the mid- and post-college segment hard. BUT personally i'm getting into pre-family preparations, so this isn't as useful as a 4-door hatch would be. Hopefully 2010 or 2011 they'll make it a reality, and i'll trade in my Hyundai for a 2nd Ford.

It's definitely an improvement - especially from the front - but that spoiler perhaps looks a tad silly (especially from the front!)...

New fascias are nice, as are the smoked grille, lights, and tails. Still needs a drop or bigger wheels.

AND: dumb chrome vents (and ALL chrome, for that matter) removed! YESSSS!

Actually, I'd like to see all these touches applied to the sedan (perhaps as an ST version). I'd still prefer that to the coupe.

(Not that I'd dream of trading my SVT in on one or anything...)
