Sorry I wasn't directing the comment at you. Just using the same post to let others know there are cliff notes available.

I also inquired if they planned on releasing a FI version and its definitely a NO as their top priority is still fuel efficiency.

wow, i bought SVT euro wheels and now all the new focis will have them, figures x3 ah well, i dont care about exclusivity anyhow

anyway, I still dont care for the looks of the 08/09 foci, what hurts the design the most is the design of the headlights, the taillights being altezza natured and that boring looking grille, i dont mind its profile but the wheel wells are kinda too small like a prius.

As much of a step in the right direction this is, its a step back for me. The SVT EAP's on my 03 just wont be "unique" anymore.....

The design's a little too Euro for my tastes. I'd prefer to see sharper angles and a little less sophistication. It looks a bit too well-behaved.

Then again, I despise almost all European vehicles outside of a select few Italian cars, so my tastes might be slightly outside the norm.

It looks good, but still not enough for me to give up my '00. The car is going in the right direction though. I don't think they will do the same to the sedan. I think they will make it be more like how the Camry/Solara are because the coupe and the sedan have to have more differences then just how many doors there are. That's why people weren't giving the coupe much of a chance in the first place. I mean, the whole purpose of the redesign is to get more people to buy the coupe.

Wow, I like!! Once the "chrome" crap was gone it looks a bit more sleeker. I'm just more impressed with the quick turnaround on the improvements! Ford has proven it's dedication to the Focus fans IMO. Get me a black 09 Coupe for Christmas, Santa!

Of course I wanted a SE to save some $...I wonder what that will look like. This kind of ruins my plans to pick up an 08 at the end of the year so I get the heavy discounts. Dilemma!
