Moving to Flagstaff
I will be moving to Flagstaff next month for a new job.

What kind of stuff can I expect from AMV?
I have an '03 ZX3, Duratec, PZEV with a K&N CAI. Will I have to swap out my CAI to the stock intake before I try to register?

Same goes with my '88 Ranger 2.9. I modified the intake on that to be a CAI, will I have to revert that one?

I hope to meet some of you folks in the coming months.

Welcome to the area, I think you should be fine with those mods. I was able to pass inspection with pretty much the same mods + exhaust when I first came out here.

I'm really hoping that I don't have to pack my intake and headlights to get through inspection. Cuts down on the possession transport.

IMO you'll be fine. I know of a few Focus in Flagstaff but haven't been in contact with them lately.

Flagstaff has NO emissions testing, so you're fine. Only the Phoenix Metro and Tucson Metro areas require emissions testing.

True but to title any vehicle in Zona you will need a vehicle inspection regardless.

Yeah what they do is basically just make sure the VIN's aren't hacked off and that the car won't blow up within 20 feet of leaving the MVD. 30 feet and they don't care. Seriously, they don't check all that stuff Cali does, they just make sure its not stolen and thats about it.

That's great news, I really didn't want to pack my stock intake and headlights just to pass an inspection. If I did I would probably have to leave my chones behind

Hopefully I can make contact with some of the foci owners and have a few runs.
