Angry A lot of problems with new 2003 Ford Focus ZTS

My car makes a creaking noise coming from the rear when I sit in the drivers seat and the car is in park with the parking break on. My back bumper was not attached on the drivers side which I noticed after purchase. Also the back temperd glass had 5 cracks in it on both sides of the edge of the glass that had to be changed out. The hand break quit holding until almost vertical. When getting tire rotation done 10 caps came off off of 16 nuts. Cruise control quit 2 times on flat land and my drivers seat was ripped and had to be changed out. I have had it in the shop 11 times now in 8 mths. of owning it.

Mine creaks like that too, no biggie. I also had the lugnut problem. I replaced them all with ones I got at Autozone for a buck a piece. They're a little taller than stock and look good. I emailed Ford about it and they wouldn't reimburse me for the lugs because they said it wasn't an emergency repair. I don't care though, for 16 bucks it isn't worth a hassle.
Just reread your post and you definitely have some other unusual stuff happening though. Haven't had a single problem other than the lugs in 27k miles.

The creaking sounds I believe are coming from the e-brake. My wife's 2002 ZX3 creaks whenever we sit in the car while the car is on a slope especially. I believe I heard that it is b/c the cable is loose. So if you tighten it, it shoudl stop creaking? not sure since I have not had a chance to get under her car yet...
