The only new BMW 3 that's beatable by a stock SVT is the 325i. The 330i would be pretty close, but is still a bit quicker. The 335i can do 4.9-5.1 0-60 runs, and would eat our poor FoFo's and spit out the guts.

So yeah. 325i.

Well, they're very luxurious and comfortable inside, with loads of cool small features. Even the base 325i model has cool stuff like for example : when you shift into reverse, the side view mirrors automatically tilt down so you can see the curbline for parallel parking. Just nifty stuff like that. The fit, finish, etc, are all stellar as well. And quiet inside like a vault :) Did I mention RWD?

But yeah, the 325 is not a very exciting example. The 330 is nifty. The 335i is super sweet (300hp stock, but has twin turbo setup that can be modded to ~500hp pretty easily), you can also add a Limited Slip Differential aftermarket, and bring it to the M3's playing field.

If you see //M on any BMW, back away slowly, unless you're running boost + nitrous with 18" slicks.

Its definitely a 325i. 335s (E92) are extremely quick and can occassionally take some E46 M3s to the cleaners. Also, I'd think that the guy probably does not know how to drive. No offense Sonicsvt3.
